Sweet Fig Pickles

Sweet Fig Pickles

Ingredients

(1 servings)

4 qt Firm, ripe figs (about 30)
5 c Sugar; divided
2 qt Water
2 Sticks cinnamon
1 tb Whole allspice
1 tb Whole cloves
3 c Vinegar

Instructions

Peel figs. (If unpeeled are preferred, pour boiling water over figs and let stand until cool; drain.) Add 3 cups sugar to water and cook until sugar dissolves. Add figs and cook slowly for 30 minutes. Add 2 cups sugar and vinegar. Tie spices in a cheesecloth bag; add to figs. Cook gently until figs are clear. Cover and let stand 12-24 hours in a cool place. Remove spice bag. Bring to simmer; pack hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4″ head space. Remove air bubbles. Adjust caps. Process pints and wuarts 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
Yield: about 8 pints

1/2 oz. Rumpelmintz
Instructions Pour each part into the shotglass. Stir three times for luck. Serve… It’s called an Ingrown Toenails, cause it’s guarranteed to cure ’em or cause ’em!!!

Ingredients Fill glass with half Orange Juice, shot of lemonade, shot of lemon juice, shot of sprite, and add grenadine last.
Instructions Then make it pretty with a cherry in the glass and an orange slice on the side and drink away! you could always add vodka if you want to make it alcoholic, its very good that way too!

Ingredients one part midori,one part vodka,full shot of white sambuca,lemon wedge,brown sugar, a lighter (zippo adds a bit of class) a tea saucer and a wine glass

Ingredients Tear a cherry into 4ths and drop in into the glass.
Kahlua to the top of the cherry chunks.
Layer Midori half way up the glass.
Layer Malibu up to the top.
Garnish with a torn cherry on rim.
